Contemporary Māori-inspired earrings by Tracy Maniapoto

'Tihei Mauri Ora' is a Māori phrase meaning the 'breath of life'.  These stud earrings are based on a pūrerehua (bullroarer) design using recycled rimu.  The pūrerehua gains its voice from Tāwhiri-mātea, the atua (deity) of wind.  Measures 28mm x 85mm, recycled rimu, stainless steel posts.
